Photobooth sessions often produce a mix of content types: standard photos, AI-FX enhancements, and VideoFX clips. To provide a streamlined experience and allow users to focus on specific output types, Snappic supports content filtering both within the Photobooth interface and from the Web Dashboard.

Table of Contents

  • Important Notes

  • Filtering Gallery Sessions from the Dashboard

    • General Gallery Filtering

    • Advanced Filtering for AI-FX

Important Notes

  • Filtering options are available from the Latest version of the Snappic app (1.36)

  • Ensure your app is up to date.

  • Filters only apply to session viewing; all content is captured unless specifically disabled.

Filtering Gallery Sessions from the Dashboard

General Gallery Filtering

This setting controls which session types (Still, AI, Video, etc.) appear in the in-app gallery during your event.

  • Go to your Snappic dashboard and select an event.

  • Click on the Advanced tab.

  • Scroll to Gallery Filter Categories.

  • Select the session types to show:

    • Still

    • Ai Original

    • Ai

    • Gif

    • Video

  • Click Done to save changes.

Note: The app will only display the session types selected from the web dashboard. Once saved, refresh the app to apply the changes.

Advanced Filtering for AI-FX

This section explains how to exclude still image content when using AI-FX. Unlike the General tab filters, which only affect the in-app gallery, this setting ensures that original stills are hidden from the app, the online gallery, and analytics.

  • Navigate to the event’s AI-FX Settings tab.

  • Scroll to the bottom.

  • Enable the option: "Do not show original stills in gallery and analytics"

  • When enabled, original stills captured alongside AI-FX content are excluded from the in-app gallery, the online gallery, and all analytics reporting.

Important: This differs from the filter settings under the Event Options/Advanced tab. Settings under Advanced affect only the in-app gallery, while the checkbox on the AI-FX Editing tab impacts visibility and reporting across the Snappic app, online gallery, and analytics data.
