With the continuous amendments to consumption tax (VAT, GST and sales tax) in different countries and states, Snappic has integrated with a new payment platform to continue to ensure we, as well as our customers, are compliant.

The recent changes state that consumers may be charged tax for SaaS (software as a service) products based on their location.

The new Snappic payment system will allow users to provide more details regarding their location and company, thus specifying if tax is due. If your company is tax-exempt then you can just enter your company tax number at the checkout window. This way you will either not be charged consumption tax (depending on your location and company status) or you can claim tax back.
Fortunately, this new payment system will make paying for Snappic products/items a lot easier for our customers as payments will not be restricted to PayPal only.
The new payment platform will also include subscription reminders so all customers that have a monthly or annual subscription will now receive a reminder email a few days before their subscription is going to renew. This will help our customers to manage their subscriptions more seamlessly.
