Processing Time & Upload Requirements
AI-FX processing begins only after the images are fully uploaded.
Upload times may vary depending on the internet connection, event size, and network congestion.
Once uploaded, AI processing generally takes 2-5 minutes, but it can sometimes take longer based on server load.
There is no guaranteed processing time, but the average is around 4 minutes after completing the upload.
Optimal for Individuals
AI-FX is designed for individual portraits and currently does not support group photos.
The technology is fine-tuned for solo shots to ensure the highest-quality results. However, we are looking into introducing group AI-FX in the future.
AI-Generated Variability
AI-generated images can sometimes produce unexpected results, including changes in facial features, gender, or skin tone.
These variations are an inherent part of AI processing and cannot be directly controlled.
Face Swap Filter
Users must upload a clear photo with a human face for the face swap filter.
AI-FX will analyze the face and apply enhancements such as lighting adjustments and background transformations.
You can upload an image with multiple subjects and have multiple guests at the booth taking a face-swap photo.
The AI will place the guests from left to right onto the face swap image.
Sharing Options
AI-FX images can be shared via email and text from the photo booth. This will ensure guests receive the AI output once the rendering is done. Depending on which option they choose, the AI image will be sent to them directly via email or text.
Sharing via QR code or airdrop from the photo booth will result in only the original image being shared.
Sharing via a Share Station is also possible, as both the original and AI output will be sent to the sharing station.
Virtual Booth does not support AI-FX at this time.
Printing
You cannot print AI images directly from your Photo Booth.
You will need a Sharing Station to print AI-FX output.
Connect your printer to a sharing station. Once the AI image is sent to the Sharing Station, you can select the option to print it.
Background Customization
AI-FX does not support custom static or animated backgrounds.
Since AI-FX generates images, it can only approximate a background based on the AI prompt.
Background Removal is not compatible with AI-FX filters at this time.
Custom Prompts
The Custom Prompt filter allows you to input your text prompt, which the AI will use to generate a completely unique AI image. This is perfect for creating bespoke filters for corporate branding, themed events, or artistic effects.
These detailed text instructions guide the AI in creating the desired image. Custom prompts typically include:
Specific details: Objects, settings, styles, moods, lighting, etc.
Visual elements: Colours, textures, backgrounds, or even specific items (e.g., "a red house in a snowy forest at sunset").
Artistic direction: You can specify a particular artistic style, such as realism, abstract, or impressionism.
Each Custom Prompt filter includes:
Custom Prompt – A detailed description of what you want the AI to create.
Negative Prompt – Terms to exclude from the AI’s output (e.g., avoiding text overlays, ensuring an abstract look, etc.).
Combining both prompts gives you more control over the generated image, ensuring it aligns with your vision.

How to use Custom Prompts 1.0 and 2.0
Go to the AI Experience section on your dashboard. Click Add AI Filter.
Go to General and select the Custom Prompt filter. This will add it automatically. Click Close.
You will now see the Custom Prompt Filter. Click Edit.
Here, you can change the Template Name, upload your Preview Image, choose the Pose Type, and input your Custom Prompt and Negative Prompt.
Custom Prompt 2.0 (Coming Soon)
Snappic’s Custom Prompt 2.0 offers two powerful AI transformation options: Realistic and Stylized, each designed to enhance your photos uniquely.
Whether you want photo-realism or bold artistic effects, Custom Prompts 2.0 allows you to create the perfect transformation!
Custom 2.0 also provides enhancements to the overall quality of the output.

Realistic Custom Prompt
Generates photorealistic AI images. Ideal for:

Stylized Custom Prompt

✅ DO:
Be highly specific in your prompt (e.g., “A cyberpunk warrior with neon lights and a futuristic helmet”).
Use positive and negative prompts to fine-tune outputs.
Test different prompt variations for optimal results.
❌ DON’T:
Use vague descriptions like “A cool person.”
Expect results to match an exact image (AI generates new images based on text).
Overload the prompt with too many conflicting details.
Style Transfer
With Style Transfer, you can upload an image, and the AI will apply its visual characteristics to the photo taken at the booth. This is ideal for maintaining a cohesive aesthetic across multiple guest photos while ensuring each image is unique.

Style Transfer enables customizable AI effects, allowing effortless adjustment of intensity and composition for any theme.
Ideal for instant style matching to create distinctive looks.
How to add Style Transfer
Under the AI Experience section, click Add AI Filter.
Under the General Tab, you still see all the Custom filters. Select Style Transfer. This will add it to your filters. Click Close.
Click the Edit button on the AI Transfer filter
Here, you can change the Template Name, Filter Preview image, upload your Source Image, change the Style Strength and Composition, and add an optional Custom Prompt.
Style Strength - This allows you to adjust how strongly you want the output style to resemble your source image. Choose between Low, Medium, or High.
Composition - This lets you choose which pose the output should project. There are two options available:
From Style Photo: This will apply the pose, style, texture, and look of the uploaded image to your guest.
From Captured Photo: This keeps the guest's original pose but applies the source image's style, texture, and look.
Source Image - This is where you upload the image you wish to use for the AI-generated output.
Custom Prompt (optional) - You can input a text prompt here. You do not have to, but adding this will create a more accurate result to the source image.
💡 Tip: Upload your source image to ChatGPT and ask it to create an AI text prompt based on that image. You can then add this to the custom prompt section.
Face Swap
Face Swap is similar to Style Transfer, but instead of altering the entire image, it only swaps the guest’s face into a provided image.
How It Works
Upload an image with at least one subject that has a human face.
The AI will replace that face with the guest’s face while maintaining the original outfit, background, and pose.
Works for single or group photos.
How to add Face Swap
Click on Add AI Filter
Select the "Face Swap" filter.
Click 'Edit' on the 'Face Swap' filter.
Here, you will see the option to change the Template Name, upload a Filter Preview, and upload a Source Image.
Filter Preview: This is the preview image clients will see on the photo booth when choosing an effect
Source image: This filter will be used to swap guest faces.
Click confirm.
