Important Notes

  • Uses 2 credits per generation.

  • One person per image only (use ClassicFX Group for multi-person effects).

  • Be specific in your prompt (e.g., “A cyberpunk warrior with neon lights and a futuristic helmet”).

  • Use both positive (desired) and negative (unwanted) prompts for fine-tuning.

  • Do not overload prompts with conflicting details — clarity gives better results.

  • Processing starts only after upload completes (average time: 2–5 minutes).

  • Upload times vary by internet speed, image size, and network congestion.

  • No guaranteed processing time — high traffic can increase queue duration.

  • Background removal is supported for all ClassicFX filters.

  • Sharing: AI outputs can be sent via email or text once the session syncs.

  • Printing: To print AI-FX images, use a Sharing Station.

  • Virtual Booth: Not supported.

  • Animated backgrounds: Not supported.

Known Limitations

  • AI results may include unexpected variations in facial features, gender, or skin tone.

  • NSFW filtering is active, but nudity or artistic exposure may still occur in both Real and Styled modes.

  • Sharing via QR code or AirDrop only sends the original image unless you share the AI output directly from the app.

  • Prompts with excessive details can reduce accuracy or create distortions.

  • AI-FX only begins after all uploads are completed — large or slow uploads may delay processing.

What is ClassicFX?

ClassicFX gives you the power to completely transform your guests’ photos using AI and text prompts.

You can define:

  • The subject’s look, pose, and clothing

  • The background (AI-generated, custom, or uploaded)

  • The overall mood or art style

  • The influence of reference imagery

This flexibility allows you to create anything from professional headshots to cinematic fantasy portraits — all from a single photo booth capture.

Setting up ClassicFX in Snappic

You can configure both Real and Styled Custom Prompts using the same setup process. Below is a shared walkthrough to help guide you through the interface.

Step 1:

  • Open your event in the Snappic dashboard.

  • Go to the Features tab and enable AI Experience. Click Save Changes

Step 2:

  • Go to the AI Experience section in your event dashboard.

  • Click + Add AI Filter and select ClassicFX Real or Classic FX Styled

Step 3:

  • Once you have your filter selected, click on edit to find the settings

  • Choose Combined (one prompt for all genders) or Separate Genders (different male/female prompts only).

  • Enter your Custom Prompt(s). Example: pirate, detailed clothing, on a ship, ocean background.

  • Add a Negative Prompt (e.g., blurry, distorted face, text overlay, extra limbs, NSFW).

Prompting Tab

Use the Prompting Tab to define the creative instructions for your AI output.

Prompt Type Options:

  • Combined → Same style for everyone.

  • Separate Genders → Distinct male/female prompts (e.g., tuxedo for men, gown for women).

Prompt Writing Tips:

  • Include both the subject and the scene.

    • Example: “A medieval knight in silver armor, standing on a battlefield at sunset.”

  • Avoid vague phrases like “make it cool” or “trendy look.”

  • Add a Negative Prompt to block unwanted elements:

  • “blurry, distorted face, text overlay, extra limbs, NSFW, nudity.”

  • Test several variations to find the best balance.

Pose Selection Tab

  • Choose from:

    • Original Pose (Uses original body shape)

    • 3/4 Body

    • Half Body

    • Upper Body

    • Head & Shoulders

    • Random

“Original Pose” preserves the original framing of your photo.

Use “Head & Shoulders” for clean portrait framing.

Background Tab

  • Select Background Type:

    • From Original Generation – Uses the AI-generated background from your main prompt.

  • Separate Prompt – Allows you to describe a new background (e.g., "moonlit forest" or "neon-lit cityscape") independent of the primary prompt.

  • Custom Image (static only) – Lets you upload a specific background image that remains unchanged in the final output. Perfect for Branding events . Select a clear photo or artwork that showcases the style you want (e.g., a fashion photo, movie still, or

  • Custom Image as Style Reference – Uses your uploaded image to influence the background’s look and feel (lighting, color palette) without replicating it exactly.

Style Reference Tab

You can upload a reference image to guide the artistic style and composition of your output.

Options & Adjustments:

  • Toggle “Use Style Reference Image” → Yes/No

  • Upload a Style Image (e.g., a fashion photo, painting, or film still)

  • Style Strength – Adjusts color, lighting, and texture influence.

  • Composition Strength – Affects subject positioning and structure.

Guidelines: ✅ Use clean, high-quality, well-lit images.

⚠️ Avoid blurry, low-contrast, or cluttered reference images.

🎨 High strength → more stylized look.

🧟 Low strength → keeps original facial features and structure.

Additional ClassicFX Notes

  • Original clothing cannot be retained in ClassicFX-generated images.

    • For results closer to original attire, try PersonaFX or Banana filters.

    • However, as with all AI-generated outputs, exact replication isn’t guaranteed.

  • AI output variation is normal — each render is unique even with identical prompts.

  • AI-FX images are shared only when sessions are synced with the Snappic app.

  • Background removal now available on ClassicFX filters.

Best Practices / Prompting Tips

  • Use Real Mode for corporate or branding work, with a custom uploaded background for consistency.

  • Use Styled Mode for themed or artistic events.

  • Begin with simple prompts, then add descriptive details (e.g., lighting, mood, wardrobe).

  • Avoid overloading prompts with mixed styles (e.g., “anime watercolor oil painting realistic.”)

  • For gender-specific designs, select Separate Genders.

  • Always include a Negative Prompt to refine quality.

  • Good prompt example:

  • “A futuristic space explorer wearing a silver suit, glowing helmet visor, standing on Mars at sunset.”

  • Poor prompt example:

  • “Cool sci-fi look with random background.”

Pose & Lighting Tips

  • Encourage guests to face forward with clear lighting.

  • Avoid hands or props blocking the face.

  • Even lighting produces better AI recognition and output fidelity.
