Important Notes
BananaFX is currently in beta. While results can be impressive, they may vary — always test before event day.
Rendering times depend on external servers. Most images process quickly, but occasional slowdowns can occur depending on demand.
Aspect Ratio matters. Select an aspect ratio that matches your template’s frame orientation.
Use 3:4 or 9:16 for portrait layouts.
Use 4:3 or 16:9 for landscape layouts.
1:1 (Square) works best for standard or social media-friendly templates. Choosing the correct ratio prevents images from being cropped or stretched.
Lighting and clarity are key. Well-lit, high-quality guest photos produce the best AI transformations.
Correct Exposure: Avoid overexposed images, as they can lead to poor outputs. Well-exposed images allow the AI to closely adhere to the original image.
Sharpness and Clarity: Clear, properly focused photos will yield more accurate results.
Group limitations:
BananaFX Real performs best with 1–3 people.
BananaFX Styled is recommended for single-person shots.
Posing impacts results. Ask guests to face the camera naturally — clean and upright poses work best.
Prompt quality drives image quality. Use detailed, structured prompts to get consistent, realistic results.
Surveys can personalize outputs. Integrate survey responses (like guest names) directly into your prompt for branded, tailored effects.
Always test your setup. Run test renders before your event to confirm the best combination of prompt, pose, and aspect ratio.
Known Limitations
BananaFX is in beta, so some AI outputs may vary in style or accuracy.
Stylized filters may not apply to every person in a group photo.
Faces in Styled mode may not perfectly match the guest’s original likeness.
Group shots with BananaFX Styled can produce inconsistent results — we recommend PersonaFX Styled for group stylized imagery.
AI rendering depends on external cloud processing. Occasionally, there may be slight delays due to third-party server performance.
Prompt sensitivity: Small prompt wording changes can lead to noticeably different outputs. Always test before going live.
What is BananaFX?
BananaFX is a cloud-rendered AI filter powered by Google’s NanoBanana (Gemini 2.5) model. It transforms your guests’ original photo into a completely new AI-generated image based on your custom prompt. BananaFX utilizes a cloud-based external processing system, which can result in unique rendering speeds and outcomes. The implementation of the Gemini 2.5 model within BananaFX differs from similar tools, due to variations in training, rendering infrastructure, and pipelines.
The results are rendered quickly in the cloud, shared with guests via their chosen delivery method (email, SMS, etc.), and sent straight back to the booth gallery, all handled automatically within Snappic.
Snappic does not have direct control over the rendering speeds, as this rendering is done using external processing software. While results are typically fast, variations in speed can occur depending on the external service’s current performance. These variations are due to unique implementation factors such as the training of the Gemini model and differences in rendering pipelines, which may affect outcomes even when compared to similar tools.

Go to the AI Experience section in your event dashboard.
Next, we will + Add AI Filter. Select BananaFX Real or BananaFX Styled.

➡️ Optional Survey Setup

✨ Tip: When using survey fields, click the survey field above the prompt box to insert the guest's input into the prompt. Example: "Their name appears in bold letters on their racing suit: [What is your name?]"
Prompting Tips
A strong prompt is key to getting high-quality AI output with BananaFX. The prompt is essentially your art direction. It tells the AI how to transform the guest image into something new, creative, and visually striking.
Tips:
✅ Describe everything in detail: Your prompt should cover the scene, outfit, pose, background, facial expression, lighting, and camera angle.
✅ Use language that applies to both individuals and groups: For example, use "the subject or subjects in the input image" instead of just "the guest."
✅ Include gendered styling options when relevant: If you're including outfit changes, describe both male and female versions in the same prompt.
✅ Use prompts that suggest editorial, cinematic, or fashion photography: This helps the AI anchor the visual style.
✅ Keep the structure consistent: Start with transformation context ("the subject is transformed into..."), then specify wardrobe, environment, lighting, and vibe.
✅ Use clean and direct language: Avoid too much ambiguity or multiple clashing visual elements.
✅ When using survey fields, clearly describe where that information goes in the prompt (e.g. on a shirt, a name tag, a poster background).
✅ Test all your prompts before going live — even minor changes can affect output quality.
Strong Prompt Structure:
The subject or subjects in the input image are transformed into [new identity or theme]. They are posed [pose description] and dressed in [outfit details]. The background is [scene description], and the lighting is [lighting style]. The final image feels [tone, mood, quality — e.g. high-fashion, cinematic, editorial, playful].
This format helps ensure high render quality and consistent styling across guests.
Example Prompt (BananaFX Real):
The subject or subjects in the input image are reimagined as fashion icons wearing couture crafted from blooming flowers. For female looks: gowns cascading with roses, proteas, and lilies, with flower crowns of orchids and wild blooms. For male looks: tailored floral suits with embroidered vines, lapels sprouting with fresh blossoms, and petal-woven boots. The background is a magical botanical garden in full bloom, with arched trellises of wisteria, glowing fairy lights, butterflies in flight, and a sunset sky painted pink and gold. The whole scene feels romantic, whimsical, and enchanting, like an ethereal garden ball.
Best Practices

✅ Works best with random pose.
✅ Works better when highly stylized (e.g. Pixar, Watercolor).
