Important Notes

  • Make sure your domain (for example, snappictest01.com) is active and managed on OnlyDomains.

  • If your domain is not entered correctly in Snappic, the verification will fail.

  • DNS record updates can take a few minutes to appear, depending on your TTL (Time To Live) setting.

  • We recommend setting the TTL to 30 minutes for faster propagation.

What You’ll Need Before You Begin

✅ An active OnlyDomains domain

✅ Access to your Snappic Dashboard

✅ Access to your domain email inbox (for verification)

Setting up White Label

Step 1: Enable White Label for Your Event

Before setting up your domain, ensure the White Label feature is enabled for your event.

  1. In your Snappic Dashboard, open your event.

  2. Go to the Features tab.

  3. Scroll to the Add-ons section.

  4. Enable White-label Email & URLs.

  5. Click Save changes.

💡 White Label must be active before you can add a domain or email address.

Step 2: Access White Label Settings

After enabling the White Label feature, you’ll access the White Label settings within your event options.

  1. Open your event dashboard.

  2. Scroll to Event Options.

  3. Under White-Label Settings, click Edit.

This section is where you’ll add your domain and email for the White Label setup.

Step 3: Open White Label Event Settings

Once you click Edit in the White Label Settings section, you’ll be taken to the White Label Event Settings page. This is where you can add both your White Label email address and your White Label domain URL.

  1. On the White Label Event Settings page, locate the Email Settings and Domain/URL Settings sections.

  2. Click the Add button next to both the White-label email address or White-label URL options to open their setup menus.

  3. These actions will allow you to add and configure your email and domain for Snappic White Label.

Step 4: Add Your White Label Domain

  1. In the White Label settings, click Add Domain.

  2. Type your domain name (e.g., snappictest01.com).

  3. Once saved, click View to display the DNS records that Snappic will generate for you. These CNAMEs will be used later at the OnlyDomains DNS settings when adding new CNAME records.

Keep this page open — you’ll need these DNS details for the next step in OnlyDomains.

Step 5: Add and Verify Your Email Address

Next, add the email address you’ll use to send White Label emails (e.g., [email protected]).

  1. In the White Label panel, click Add Email.

  2. Enter your domain-based email address and click Save.

  3. Go to your OnlyDomains Email & Office dashboard.

  4. Log in to your domain email inbox.

  5. Open the verification email from Snappic (or SendGrid) and click Verify Email.

⚠️ Tips:

The final record should always be added as a TXT record, not CNAME.

If OnlyDomains gives an error, simplify the host field.

Click Save Changes once all records have been added.

Step 7: Add DNS Records in OnlyDomains

  1. Log in to your OnlyDomains account.

  2. Go to My Products → Domains → Manage DNS.

  3. Click Add New Record.

  4. Choose the record type (CNAME or TXT).

  5. Copy and paste each record from Snappic into the correct fields.

⚠️ Note:

The final record is a TXT record — not a CNAME.

If OnlyDomains displays an error, try using the prefix only (e.g., use 'gallery') as shown in the screenshot.

Click Save All Records when done.

Test DNS Records (Using MXToolbox)

You can test your DNS records to make sure they’re active before verifying in Snappic.

  1. Enter your test domain (e.g., gallery.snappictest01.com).

  2. Click DNS Lookup.

  3. A correct record will look similar to this:

This confirms your DNS records are live and ready for verification in Snappic.

Verify Your Domain and Email

  1. Return to your Snappic Dashboard.

  2. Open your event and go to the White Label section.

  3. Click Verify next to both the Domain and Email Domain.

  4. When successful, both entries will show green text marked as “Verified.”

Your event will use your own domain for galleries and emails.

Troubleshooting Tips

If your records don’t save in OnlyDomains:

  • Remove the domain suffix (e.g., use only bth._domainkey).

If verification fails in Snappic:

  • Wait up to 60 minutes for DNS propagation.

  • Double-check record types (CNAME vs TXT).

  • Test with MXToolbox to confirm they’re published.

If you didn’t get the verification email:

  • Check your spam/junk folder.

  • Resend the verification from Snappic.
