How AI Touchups Works
AI Touchups automatically applies professional photo enhancements to every image captured at your event. You configure which enhancements are active and at what intensity — then the AI processes each photo according to your settings before delivery to guests.
Enhancements are grouped into seven categories: Skin & Complexion, Face & Features, Lighting & Exposure, Color & Tone, Cleanup & Background, Sharpness & Quality, and Style & Finish. Each enhancement can be toggled on or off and set to Low, Med, or High intensity.
Before You Start
You need an active event in your Snappic dashboard before enabling AI Touchups.
AI Touchups is only available on Business, Premium and Scale Packages.
How to Enable AI Touchups on an Event
Open your event in the Snappic Dashboard.
Go to Event Options and select AI Touchups.
This opens the Event Touchup Config screen. You will then be able to use a quick preset or set up your own individual enhancements.
Using Quick Presets
Quick Presets are pre-configured enhancement combinations designed for common event types. Selecting a preset enables a curated set of enhancements in a single click.
Available presets:
Preset | Best for |
Quick Face Fix | Fast skin and lighting cleanup |
Event Rescue | Fixing bad venue lighting and noise |
Photobooth Pop | Vibrant, fun photobooth look |
Headshot Pro | Corporate-ready polish |
Soft & Romantic | Weddings and gala events |
Editorial Look | Magazine-ready polish |
To apply a preset:
On the Event Touchup Config screen, locate the Quick Presets section.
Click the preset you want to apply.
The selected enhancements are activated automatically. You can review or adjust individual enhancements after applying a preset.
💡Tip: Apply a preset first, then fine-tune individual enhancements to match your specific venue and lighting conditions.
Configuring Custom Enhancements
If you want full control over which enhancements are active, configure them manually in the Enhancements section. Enhancements are grouped into seven categories.
On the Event Touchup Config screen, scroll to the Enhancements section.
Click a category row to expand it.
Toggle each enhancement on or off using its toggle switch.
For enhancements with an Intensity control, select Low, Med, or High.

Testing Your Configuration
Before your event, test your enhancement configuration against a real photo to confirm results are correct.
On the Event Touchup Config screen, click Test.
The Test Touchup Configuration dialog opens.
Upload a test photo by dragging an image into the upload area or clicking to browse. The image must be JPG or PNG and under 5 MB.
Click Run Test.
The processed image is displayed in a before-and-after view with a draggable slider. Drag the slider left and right to compare the original and enhanced versions.
Click Test Again to upload a different image, or click Close to return to the configuration screen.
💡Tip: Test with a photo taken under conditions similar to your event venue — ideally with the same lighting setup you plan to use. This gives you the most accurate preview of results on event day.
Troubleshooting
Why is the AI Touchups option not appearing in my Event Options?
AI Touchups must be available on your plan. If the tile is not visible in Event Options, contact support to confirm whether AI Touchups is included on your current plan.
Why do enhancements not appear to be applying to photos at my event?
Confirm that AI Touchups is enabled on the event and that at least one enhancement is toggled on. If AI Touchups is enabled and enhancements are active but results are not visible, contact support — photo processing may need to be checked.
Why does the test result look different from what I see at the event?
The test tool processes a single uploaded image using your current saved configuration. If you have made changes to your enhancement settings after running the test, run the test again to see updated results. Also, confirm that the test photo reflects your actual event lighting conditions.
Why is the enhancement producing unnatural-looking results?
High intensity settings can produce over-processed results, particularly for Smooth skin, minimize wrinkles, and Whiten teeth. Reduce the intensity of the affected enhancement to Low or Med and run a new test.
Why is the background blur affecting the subject as well as the background?
Blur background works best when subjects are clearly separated from the background. If the subject and background have similar tones or the subject is close to the frame edge, blending may occur. Reduce intensity or disable the enhancement if results are unsatisfactory.
Why does the test upload fail?
The test tool accepts JPG and PNG files only, with a maximum file size of 5 MB. If your upload fails, confirm the file format and size before trying again.
