Snappic allows you to apply beautiful visual effects to your event content by using preset and guest filters. These filters can automatically enhance photos or give guests the freedom to choose their own style.

  • Recommended Filters

Important Notes

  • Filters can be applied to Photos, GIFs, and Burst (not VideoFX).

  • If you can’t see the Filters tab, ensure it’s toggled on under Event Options.

  • You can use both preset and guest filters together for a layered look.

  • Test combinations before the event to ensure visuals appear as desired.

  • We recommend using Photo Glam instead of Beautify and K-dash for smoothing skin and whitening the teeth.

  • When using preset filters, we also recommend saving Unprocessed images as a backup.

Access the Filters Section

From your Snappic event dashboard, you can select your event.

Then, navigate to the “Filters” section.

If this option doesn’t appear, go to Event Options and toggle “Filters” on to enable it.

Preset Filters

Preset Filters are filters that automatically apply to every image or GIF captured during your event — guests won’t need to make any selections.

To set one up:

  1. Click the “Select” button under Preset Filters.

  2. Choose a filter from the list.

  3. Save your selection.

Popular choice: The Beautify filter — great for smoothing skin tones and enhancing overall photo quality.

Guest Filters

Guest Filters enable guests to select a filter during their photo booth session.

To enable guest filters:

  1. Click “Add Filter” under Guest Filters.

  2. Select several filter options (e.g., Sepia, Vivid, Noir).

  3. Guests will then be able to scroll through and apply their preferred look before capturing their photo or GIF.

💡 Tip: Offering a few filter options makes the experience more interactive and fun.

Filter Layering Explained

Even when you allow guests to choose their own filter, Preset Filters will still apply underneath.

For example:

  • Preset Filter: Black & White

  • Guest Filter: Sepia

Result → The final image will have a Black & White + Sepia blend, creating a unique, artistic tone.

Recommended Filters

  • Beautify: Ideal for portraits, smooths and brightens. (We recommend using Photo Glam instead)

  • Sepia: Adds a warm, nostalgic feel.

  • Black and White: Creates classic black-and-white images.
