Written by Damir

Preset filters are a ready-to-use gallery of themed AI effects built by Snappic's creative team. No custom prompting is required — simply select a filter from the gallery, attach it to your template, and it's ready for your event.

Preset filters are powered by the BananaFX engine, delivering fast, high-quality results across a wide range of themes.

The gallery is organised into categories and sub-categories, making it easy to find the right effect for any event type.

Important Notes

  • Preset filters are updated periodically by Snappic's team. Filters may be added, updated, or changed at any time for performance or quality reasons. Always check the gallery and test before offering a filter to a client.

  • Processing takes 30 seconds to 2 minutes after a guest's photo is taken. There is no guaranteed processing time as it is dependant on server load and wifi connection.

  • Preset filters are designed for single frame templates. Templates with two or more frames, GIFs, and Burst are not supported.

  • AI may produce unexpected results including changes to facial features, gender, or skin tone. This is normal and cannot be controlled.

  • AI-FX images are shared with guests via email or SMS once rendering is complete. AirDrop or QR sharing only shares the original image.

  • Virtual Booth does not support AI-FX.

  • Preset filters do not support custom or animated backgrounds.

  • Some filters include editable options such as pose type — see Editing Preset Filters below.

  • Aspect Ratio — Select the ratio that matches your template frame orientation to avoid cropped or stretched images.
