This article will show you how to set up your printer with the Snappic Windows Print Server.
Option 1: Setting up a wireless connection (using a wifi network to connect the iPad and Windows device/laptop)
Option 2: Setting up a wired connection (wired referring to the iPad being plugged into the Windows device/laptop)

Wireless Printing

Step 1a - Download DNP Drivers onto the Windows device/laptop. Please select the correct drivers and install them. Drivers

Step 1b - Download the Snappic Windows Print Server onto the Windows device/laptop you will be connecting your printer to. The Snappic Windows Print Server is under your account dashboard's "Resources" tab.

Step 2 - Now install Bonjour on your Windows device/laptop
(Download Bonjour for Windows).

Step 3 - Ensure you do not have any firewalls on the Windows device/laptop, as they will block communication with the iPad.

Step 4 - Connect your printer via USB to the Windows device/laptop, make sure it is powered on, and set it as the default printer.

Step 5 - Ensure that your iPad and Windows device/laptop are connected to the same hotspot/wifi connection.

(Note: we do not recommend using the wifi supplied at the venue (Public WiFi) as this connection can have a security setting that blocks the communication between the iPad and print server).

Step 6 - Now, you can open the Print Server on your Windows device/laptop and configure the printer for Standard and Strip prints - to read more about this, scroll to the section Configuring the Snappic Windows Print Server at the bottom of the article.

Step 7 - You can now configure the printer on the iPad by opening the event on your iPad and tapping on the "Configure Printer" button. A pop-up will appear.

Step 8 - On the pop-up, select the "Photo Booth Print Server" option with the word "wireless".
