Important Notes

  • For this article, we are using the DNP RX1 printer.

  • Ensure your Windows device has internet access to download the necessary software.

  • Do not use public WiFi, as firewalls or security settings may block communication with the iPad, preventing the iPad and PC from communicating. (This is an issue 99% of the time on Venue/Public WiFi)

  • The printer must be powered on and connected to the Windows device via USB.

  • Make sure the printer is set as the default printer.

  • Bonjour and iTunes are required for the Snappic Print Server to detect and communicate with the iPad. (*we have noticed recently that opening iTunes improves the stability and may be needed for wired printing)

  • Adjust margins if the output is not centred or is too close to the edge.

*we haven't been able to check this. It is a support observation
