Snappic version 1.28 has added support for the Glamatic robot arm. You are able to choose a program to run on the booth, which gets triggered when the app starts recording a video.

The robot arm uses an Ethernet cable to connect to it. Depending on the type of device you're running the app on, you will probably also need a USB to Ethernet adapter such as these ones:

Note that you don't need to get these adapters from Apple specifically, most Ethernet adapters should work.

One thing to note is that on the iPhone, you will also need a powered USB adapter, such as this one, and make sure to power the iPhone while the Ethernet adapter is plugged in.

After connecting the robot arm to your device, you will also need to give the Ethernet interface a static IP address. On iOS, you can do this from the Settings App > Ethernet > Select your Ethernet adapter > Configure IP > Manual.

Enter the following details:

IP Address: 192.168.1.5

Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

Router: <Leave this blank>

It's important to leave the router field blank here. If you don't, the app will be able to communicate with the robot arm, but it won't be able to access the Internet.

From the Snappic app, select your event, and then tap on the Select Accessories button. If the arm is connected correctly, it should appear in the list. Select the Glamatic accessory, and that should give you an option to preview the different programs available, and choose one to use for your event.
