How to Use LED Controllers with the Snappic App
This guide explains clearly and instructionally how to set up and customise LED controllers using the Snappic app.
To begin, you can open the Snappic app on your device and navigate to the event you plan to use.
Once your event is open, tap the "Select Accessories" tab.
This section will display a list of supported LED controllers. You will be prompted to select the appropriate controller for your setup with the following options: SP105E, SP107E, and SP110E. For this guide, we will focus on using the SP110E controller.
After selecting the SP110E controller, you will be presented with a set of configuration settings that allow the LED lights to interact with the app during different stages of your event.
These stages include
Attract Screen
Interacting
Capture
Competition Winner
Competition Loser.
Each of these stages has two buttons: Edit and Preview. The Edit button allows you to customise the LED behaviour, while the Preview button lets you test how the selected settings will appear in real-time.
When editing, you can choose from various animation modes.
These modes allow you to create dynamic lighting effects. Each mode includes an option to adjust the animation speed, which determines how quickly the LED lights change colours. You can also control the overall brightness of the LEDs to suit the event atmosphere.
If your LED strip supports white light, you will see an additional setting to adjust the white brightness, which enhances the light animation by adding a white light overlay to the colours.
At the end of the animation mode list, you will find an option to select a static colour instead of an animated effect. The static colour setting provides a simple colour picker, allowing you to choose a single colour to display.
This section also includes sliders for brightness and white brightness if your LED strip supports it.
Once you have selected, use the Preview button to test each stage's lighting setup.
This ensures the LED effects are visually aligned with your event’s theme and atmosphere.
With these easy-to-follow steps, you can create an engaging and immersive lighting experience using Snappic’s supported LED controllers. Whether you’re looking to attract guests, highlight a photo capture moment, or celebrate a competition winner, your LED setup will now seamlessly support your event goals.
