In-App Session Approval adds a review step after capture, allowing guests or operators to approve or retake before the final image is saved. This is especially valuable when using AI Effects, Offline Backgrounds, or any feature that consumes credits or requires operator oversight.
This ensures full quality control in both Photo Booth Mode and Roaming Photography Mode.
Important Notes
➡️ Cross-Mode Compatibility – Works in both Photo Booth Mode and Roaming Photography Mode.
➡️ AI-FX and AI Background Removal – Credits will only be deducted after the image is approved.
➡️ Approval Time-out – If 'session timeout' is enabled, and the guest leaves the booth without approving, it won't be saved when the session times out.
➡️ Session Flow – Asking for approval after each capture extends session the duration slightly. Avoid enabling this for fast moving or unattended booths.

What Is In-App Session Approval?
In-App Session Approval adds a quality checkpoint between capturing and saving.
After an image or sequence is captured, Snappic displays an approval screen showing the final rendered output.
From here, the operator or guest can choose:
Approve → Save and proceed to the sharing screen
Retake → Restart the capture and generate a new output
This ensures every photo added to your event gallery meets your desired quality standard before it’s saved, generated, or shared.
How to Enable In-App Session Approval in Snappic
You can enable In-App Session Approval separately for Photo Booth Mode and Roaming Photography Mode, depending on where you want the feature to apply.
Enable for Photo Booth Mode
Open your event in the Snappic Dashboard
Go to Event Options
Click the Advanced tab
Scroll to Photo Booth Settings
Enable In-App Session Approval
Save your event and sync to your device
This activates approval during Photo Booth Mode sessions only.
Enable for Roaming Photography Mode
Open your event in the Snappic Dashboard
Go to Event Options
Click the Roaming tab
Under Session Capture & Review Settings, enable:
