Snappic allows you to add custom digital props—such as hats, glasses, and mustaches—that automatically align with users’ faces. This guide outlines the creation specs, recommended placement points, and uploading process.

Important Notes
Use a transparent PNG file, ideally 1200px by 1200px. Final size will vary depending on prop shape.
Placement points determine where on the face the prop will appear. These can be manually adjusted after upload.
Props are automatically enabled for all experiences once uploaded.

File format: PNG with transparent background
Recommended size: 1200px by 1200px (depending on prop shape)
Center your design in the canvas
Save with a clear, descriptive filename for easy management
Recommended Placement Points
Snappic uses facial detection to place props based on key points. Use the following placement types for best results. Selected points are displayed in green:
Glasses or Eye Masks
Best suited for placement over the eyes.
Hats or Head Props (e.g. Bunny Ears)
Best placed above the forehead and aligned with head-top reference points.
Beards
Positioned around the jawline and chin.
Mustaches
Best placed between the nose and upper lip.
Eyebrows
Positioned just above the eyes for a natural look.
Nose Props
Centered on the bridge and tip of the nose.
Under-Face Props (e.g. Bowties)
Best placed under the chin.
Uploading Custom Props
Navigate to your Snappic Dashboard.
Go to Experiences and select or create an experience.
Click the Digital Props tab.
Click Add Digital Prop.
Upload your PNG file and give it a name.
Select the appropriate prop category (e.g., glasses, mustache).
Click Save.
Editing and Positioning
After uploading, use the green placement points to align the prop.
Drag each point to its appropriate facial reference (e.g., eye corners, chin).
Use the preview to ensure alignment across face sizes and angles.
Click Save Changes when done.
Testing and Preview
Use the Live Preview feature to test in real-time.
Adjust placement points as needed for different face types.
You can edit props anytime by returning to the Digital Props tab.
