Important Notes
Digital Props are supported on both Photo and GIF experiences.
Make sure Autostart is disabled — otherwise, the Digital Props screen will be skipped.
Use transparent PNG files (1200x1200px recommended) when uploading your own props.
Snappic automatically aligns props using facial detection.
Ensure the lighting around your booth is good for accurate facial detection.
Guests wearing glasses may experience detection issues or props may not align correctly.
Enabling Digital Props
Navigate to your Event Dashboard on Snappic.
Go to the Event Options section.
Click the Digital Props block to enable it.
This will activate the Digital Props feature for your event, allowing you to configure your prop library.
Selecting and Managing Props
After enabling the feature:
You will be directed to the Digital Props setup page.
Click Select to choose props from Snappic’s built-in prop library.
Alternatively, click Manage props to view, delete, or reorder your existing props.
Uploading Custom Props
Click Manage props.
Select Add Digital Prop.
Upload your transparent PNG file (ideally 1200x1200px).
Choose the appropriate prop category:
Glasses or Eye Masks
Hats or Head Props
Beards / Mustaches
Bowties / Under-face props
Click Save.
💡 Tip: Name your file clearly (e.g., red_glasses.png) to make it easier to manage.
Editing and Testing Props
Once uploaded, you can:
Drag placement points to adjust alignment on the guest’s face.
Use the Preview option to test the fit in real time.
Reorder props by dragging and dropping them in your prop list.
Click Save Changes when you’re done.
Troubleshooting
If Digital Props are not showing, ensure Autostart is disabled.
Make sure your iPad camera is positioned properly for facial recognition.
Re-upload PNG props if alignment seems off — transparent backgrounds are essential.
Confirm your Snappic app is updated to the latest version.
