How to change the initial camera countdown?

This guide explains how to change the countdown timer that appears before the first photo is taken in your Snappic event setup.

Important Notes

  • The initial countdown refers to the timer before the first photo only.

  • To adjust the countdown between photos, refer to the "Interval/countdown between photos” article.

  • These settings are found under Event Options → Advanced.


Accessing Event Options

To begin:

  1. Go to your event dashboard in Snappic.

  2. Scroll to the Event Options section.

Enabling Advanced Settings

  1. Within Event Options, click the Advanced button.

  2. This will open a page where you can configure several advanced event settings.

Adjusting the Camera Countdown

  1. Locate the option labeled Camera Countdown.

  2. Enter your preferred countdown time (in seconds).

  3. Save your changes.

  4. This countdown will play before the first photo is taken in your photo booth session.


Related Tips

  • You can modify related text like Start Activity Button or Disclaimer Confirmation from this menu.

  • To make the booth start automatically without tapping, toggle on Camera Auto Start in the same advanced settings area.

  • Enable the option to Pause the Countdown Between Photos. This works well for multi-frame templates, such as strips, to give users time to change poses.

  • You can also tick the Show Captured Media Previews option in the section.
