Learn how to customize the countdown (interval) between photos in Snappic. Whether you’re editing a photo, GIF, or animated overlay template, adjusting the capture interval helps control pacing and flow during your event.

Important Notes

  • The interval countdown only applies to templates with two or more photos.

  • The setting determines the delay between captures, not the initial countdown before the first photo.

  • To adjust the initial countdown, refer to the Event Options/Advanced section of your event.

  • Changes made to the countdown apply per template, not globally to all experiences.


Adjusting the Countdown for Photos

Photo Templates

  1. Open your event dashboard and navigate to the Templates section.

  2. Click the “Edit” button under the Photo Template you wish to modify.

  1. In the pop-up window, locate the Interval Countdown option.

  2. Adjust the time delay between photos as desired, then click Save.

💡 Note: You can only adjust this setting for photo templates containing two or more frames.


GIF Templates

  1. Navigate to your GIF Template within the event.

  2. Click the Settings button on the template.

  1. A pop-up window will appear—adjust the Interval Countdown here. This determines the delay between each captured frame in your GIF.

  2. Click Save to apply your changes.

Animated Overlay Templates

  1. Go to your Animated Overlay Template section.

  2. Click the “Edit” button under your selected template.

  3. In the settings window, locate and adjust the Capture Interval field. This ensures smooth animation timing when guests capture sequences

  4. Save your changes once the desired countdown is set.
