Facebook currently does not support uploading animated GIFs directly to albums. However, Snappic gives you the option to automatically upload a still frame from your GIF or Burst so that your event’s album includes these moments as static images.

Important Notes

  • Facebook does not currently support uploading GIFs directly to albums.

  • Enabling this option ensures every GIF or Burst session has a representative still image in your Facebook Album.

  • This feature only applies to events with Facebook Album uploads enabled.

How to Enable Still Frame Uploads

  1. Log in to your Snappic Dashboard.

  2. Navigate to the Social section of your event.

  3. Toggle on the option “Upload still frames for GIF/Burst.”

Once enabled, Snappic will automatically select a still frame from each GIF or Burst and upload it to your Facebook Album along with your standard still photos.
