  • Once this limit is reached, Snappic will not be able to upload additional photos to that album.

  • Facebook only allows uploading images

  • Album needs to be created on the Facebook business page before it can be selected on the Snappic side

Facebook Album Upload Limit

Facebook’s current restriction allows a maximum of 1,000 photos per album.

If your event produces more than that (for example, long-term activations or large festivals), you’ll need to start a new album once the first one reaches its limit.

How to Manage Album Capacity

To prevent upload errors or missing photos:

  1. Monitor your existing album’s photo count.

  2. Once you approach 1,000 uploads, prepare to create a new album.

  3. Update your Snappic settings to direct future uploads to the new album.

Creating a New Album on Facebook

Step 1: Open Your Event

  • Go to your event in the Snappic Dashboard.

Step 2: Navigate to Social Media Settings

  • Click on the Social Media tab.

  • Select the Facebook section.

Step 3: Create a New Album

  • Under the Facebook step, click Create New Album.

  • Give your album a clear name (e.g., “EventName – Part 2”).

  • Save your settings — Snappic will now upload future photos to the new album automatically.

Tips for Smooth Uploading

  • Keep albums organized: Use consistent naming conventions (e.g., “Event Name – Day 1 / Day 2”).

  • Check upload permissions: Ensure your connected Facebook page or profile allows Snappic uploads.

  • Monitor progress regularly: Large events can reach 1,000 uploads quickly.

  • Download backups: Always store a copy of your media locally in case of API issues.

Conclusion

Facebook limits each album to 1,000 photos. To continue uploading through Snappic, simply create a new album from the Facebook section under the Social Media tab. Regularly monitoring your album size helps ensure a seamless upload experience during long or large-scale events.
