Snappic’s Double Up Printing feature lets you print two 3x4 or 4x3 images on a single perforated 4x6 (or 6x4) sheet. This is ideal for creating double-photo strips or branded takeaway prints directly from your photo booth.

Important Notes

  • Supported paper size: 4x6 or 6x4 perforated paper

  • Available under Frame Creator in Photo Templates

  • You can choose either 3x4 Double Up or 4x3 Double Up based on your desired layout

  • Always test print to ensure proper alignment with your printer


How to Set Up 3x4 and 4x3 Double Up Printing

Using Frame Creator

  • Go to your Snappic Dashboard.

  • Open the Frame Creator under Photo Templates.

  • Choose the layout that suits your design:

    • 3x4 Double Up – prints two 3x4 images vertically

    • 4x3 Double Up – prints two 4x3 images horizontally

Uploading Your Overlay

  • After selecting the layout, upload your overlay design (PNG format recommended).

  • Make sure your overlay matches the orientation and ratio of your chosen double-up layout.

Adjusting Photo Placement

See example layouts at the end.

  • Position the photo frames to fit your overlay design.

  • Adjust margins and alignment for even spacing.

  • Save your template once satisfied.


Testing Your Prints

  • Perform a test print to verify that the layout matches your paper’s perforation lines.

  • If alignment is off, return to the Frame Creator and make minor placement adjustments.

  • Save your corrected template and test again until both halves print correctly.


Example Output Layouts

  • 3x4 Double Up – two 3x4 portrait photos stacked vertically on a 4x6 sheet.

  • 4x3 Double Up – two 4x3 landscape photos side-by-side on a 6x4 sheet.
