Snappic allows you to personalize the social media messages attached to photos shared directly from your microsite even when in-app sharing is disabled. This helps you maintain consistent branding and engagement across platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Important Notes

  • Microsite social settings apply to all content shared from the event’s microsite.

  • You can configure these options even if sharing is disabled in the Snappic app.

  • Custom messages and hashtags enhance brand recognition and facilitate social engagement tracking.

  • Ensure that all messages adhere to each platform’s character and content guidelines.

  • Facebook Hashtag needs to be added as the first word. It will not apply if added afterwards. (Facebook limitation).

Editing Microsite Social Media Settings

  1. Navigate to your event dashboard.

  2. Go to the Microsite section in your event settings.

  3. Locate the Edit Social Messages panel.

  4. Enter your preferred messages and hashtags for each social platform listed below.

Facebook Hashtag & Message

  • Facebook Hashtag: Add event or brand-related hashtags (e.g., #SnappicEvents, #Gala2025).

  • Facebook Message: Write a short caption that appears when guests share photos from the microsite to Facebook.

💡 Tip: Keep your message friendly and concise — something like:

“#SnappicEvents Had a blast at the Snappic Spring Gala! Check out your photo below!”

Twitter Message

  • Add a short tweet-style caption for guests sharing their photos on Twitter.

  • Include mentions (@YourBrand) or hashtags for visibility.

  • Remember the Twitter character limit (280 characters max).

Example:

“Loved my photo moment at the #SnappicEvent! 🎉 Visit www.snappic.com for more.”

Instagram Email Body

Since Instagram sharing works via email prompts, you can prefill the email body with your desired message or hashtag.

Example:

“Thanks for capturing your moment with us! Share your photo on Instagram using #SnappicMoments 📸”
