With Snappic’s QR Interaction feature, guests can start their booth sessions using only their mobile phones — no need to touch the iPad screen. To make your setup completely contactless, you can now hide the on-screen experience buttons in the Snappic app.

Important Notes

  • This feature is available from Snappic App version 1.18 and later.

  • When enabled, experience buttons will be hidden from the iPad start screen.

  • Guests will only interact using the QR code on their phones — maintaining a touch-free experience.

  • Ideal for events prioritizing hygiene, automation, or remote engagement.

Enable QR Interaction

  1. Open your event in the Snappic Dashboard.

  2. Go to the Event Options section.

  3. Locate and enable the QR Interaction toggle.

    • This allows guests to start the booth experience by scanning a QR code with their mobile device.

Hide iPad Experience Buttons

  1. Once QR Interaction is enabled, navigate to the QR Interaction section in your event settings.

  2. Tick the option labeled “Hide iPad Experience Buttons.”

    • This hides all experience buttons from the iPad’s start screen.

Result: A Fully Contactless Setup

  • When you start your event on the iPad, the screen will no longer display experience buttons (e.g., Still, GIF, Burst).

  • Guests will scan the on-screen QR code to access the experience selection on their phones.

  • This setup ensures your booth remains completely touchless — guests won’t be tempted to tap the iPad.
