Add custom text to images with our new (Survey feature)

Now, you can seamlessly add personalised text collected from your survey responses directly onto your photos. This new tool makes every image more meaningful and interactive, whether it's names, messages, baseball card creations, or custom details. With a few easy steps, you can elevate your photo experience!

Important Notes:

  • This feature works for Photos, GIFs, Bursts and AI-FX (AI Filters).

  • It is not available for Animated Overlays at the moment.

  • The survey display location needs to be set to On Experience Selection.

  • We recommend enabling Required for Surveys as it will prevent skipping text fields.

Or should we add a small table of contents here for this part, as I think this may become two articles

Properties Tab

You can use the properties tab on the right to make the following changes for survey field entries.

  3. Adjust your text properties, such as entering Max Line Count for the specific text frame and the alignment of the text within the frame (Horizontal and Vertical)

  4. You can make changes to the survey properties, such as adding a Missing Text Value and selecting whether you want a Text Case Filter, such as lower case, upper case, title case, or sentence case.

You can also use the properties tab on the right to make the following changes to your overlay:

  9. Add italics to the text if needed.

  10. Underline the text if needed.

How it works on the app

The guest will complete the survey. Only the survey text options added to your template will appear on the template.

Next, the guest will choose the appropriate photo template that displays their completed survey response.

The guest strikes a pose, captures their image, and, once approved, sees the final output.
