Webhooks in Snappic automatically send real-time data to an external system whenever a specific action occurs — such as a guest sharing their photo. Webhooks eliminate the need for manual data exports by pushing information to your chosen destination the moment the event happens.

What Are Webhooks?

A webhook is a way for Snappic to automatically send real-time data to another system or service. Instead of manually exporting data, your system receives it as soon as an event occurs in the photo booth experience.

Webhooks currently support Share Data only. If you need additional data types captured via webhooks, you can submit a feature request from within your Snappic dashboard.

Which Snappic Packages Include Webhooks?

Webhooks are available on the following Snappic packages:

  • Premium – Webhooks are included

  • Scale – Webhooks are included

  • Business – Webhooks are available as a paid add-on

  • Agency – Webhooks are available as a paid add-on

  • Pro Photographer – Webhooks are available as a paid add-on

  • Starter (formerly Pro Booth) – Webhooks are not available on this plan

If you are on the Starter plan and want to use webhooks, you would need to upgrade to a higher-tier package.

How Do I Set Up Webhooks?

There are two setup options depending on your needs:

Setting Up Webhooks with Google Sheets This is the recommended no-code option. You can use the Webhooks for Sheets add-on to automatically push share data into a Google Spreadsheet in real time. This option works best for share data and is not recommended for survey responses. → View the Google Sheets Setup Guide

Custom Webhooks (Advanced) This option is for customers with their own server or a third-party integration. It covers the different webhook types (Session, Share, Survey, and Competition Win), JSON payload formats, request security using HMAC-SHA256 signatures, and the automatic retry policy. → View the Custom Webhooks Guide
