Approval and Content Moderation
Approval Requests allow photographers and operators to review each capture before it’s saved, generated, or shared.
Once the images are captured, you can click 'Next' to see the approval page to view the final output. If the guest is not happy with the output, you can click 'Retake' and go back to remove the unwanted image, then retake it.
It’s useful in both Photo Booth Mode and Roaming Photography Mode, especially during high-volume events, professional shoots, or when using AI Effects or the Offline background that consumes credits. With Approval Requests enabled, you maintain full control over what guests see, save, and share.

Known Limitations
⚠️ Approval Time-out– If 'session timeout' is enabled, and they leave the booth without approving, it won't be saved when the session times out.
⚠️ Session Flow – Approval pauses extend session duration slightly. Avoid enabling this for fast or unattended booths.
What is Approval Requests
Approval Requests add a quality checkpoint between capture and save. When enabled, the Snappic app will prompt the guest to confirm if they are happy with the final output before proceeding.
The operator or guest can then:
Approve – Save the photo and continue to share.
Retake – Restart the session to capture a new image and replace it with the one they don't like.
This ensures every photo added to your event gallery meets your desired quality standard before it’s saved, generated, or shared.
Setting Approval Requests up in Snappic (step-by-step)
Open your event in the Snappic Dashboard.
Navigate to Event Option → Advanced Tab → Session Capture and Review Settings → Enable 'Show preview for guest approval'
Save and sync your event.
On the Snappic app, start a session.
After capture, the approval screen appears automatically.
Choose Approve or Retake before continuing.
Share the Image via email or text (enable SmartShare to allow guests to enter their details only once)
