This guide shows how to download or send your event's photos, GIFs, bursts, or videos using the Snappic Dashboard. It also explains how ZIP requests are processed, what the “Queued” and “Processed” statuses mean, and what to expect in the download report.

Table of Contents

  • Downloading Captured Files

  • Selecting Media to Download

  • Emailing or Direct Download Options

  • Understanding the Status Report

  • ZIP Request Processing Times

  • Queued vs Processed Explained

  • Contact Support

Important Notes

  • ZIP requests typically take 30 minutes to 2 hours to process.

  • During high-traffic periods, processing may take up to 3 hours.

  • If the request is in a "Queued" state, it’s waiting behind other user requests.

    • Wait at least 3 hours before contacting support.

  • If the request is "Processed", the system is actively gathering your files.

    • Wait 30 minutes to 2 hours before reaching out.

  • If your download link expires, you can always request a new one.

Downloading Captured Files

  • Click the blue "Download Captured Files" button.

Selecting Media to Download

  • In the pop-up, click "Request Zip File".

  • Select the media types you wish to include (Photos, GIFs, bursts, videos).

  • Check the appropriate boxes for the types of content you need.

  • To download content from specific dates, set a custom Start and End Date.

  • Enter an email address to send the ZIP directly to yourself or a client.

  • Or leave the field blank to simply download the ZIP manually once ready.

  • After clicking "Request", you’ll see the request appear in the pop-up window.

  • Once processed, click "Download" to retrieve your ZIP file.

Understanding the Status Report

The status section provides a summary of each ZIP request, including:

  1. The date and time the ZIP file was requested.

  2. The file type (e.g., Photos, GIFs, raw image files), number of sessions, and file size.

  3. The current status of the ZIP request (e.g., Queued, Processed).

  4. The capture date range selected for the download.

  5. The expiration time of the download link.

This is useful if you send the ZIP to a client. You’ll know when to inform them that the link will expire. You can always submit a new request if needed.
