Snappic allows you to test and preview event templates by sending samples to yourself or your client for approval. This helps ensure everything looks and functions correctly before the event goes live.

Important Notes
Preset filters (e.g., ‘Kdash’) do not appear when launching test templates from the dashboard. To preview these correctly, you must launch the test from the Snappic booth app.
If Email or Text Message is not toggled on in the event settings, that option will not appear during the test share process.
If neither Email nor Text Message is enabled, the sample will only appear on the event's microsite/gallery.
Test videos cannot be emailed from the dashboard, but can be downloaded and shared manually.
Accessing the Test Event Template Option
Log in to your Snappic account and open the event you want to test.
In the top-right corner of the event page, click the Actions dropdown button.
Select Test Event Templates from the dropdown menu.
Sending Test Templates for Stills, GIFs, and Bursts
Select the template(s) you wish to test.
Choose your preferred delivery method (Phone or Email), or proceed without selecting a delivery method if you only want to preview the content.
If Email or Text Message is configured, you will receive the test message accordingly. If not, the generated samples will appear in the event's microsite/gallery for preview.
Note: Ensure sharing options (Text/Email) are toggled on in the event settings before sending.
Sending Test Videos
Navigate to the Video Templates section of your dashboard.
Click Edit on the video template you want to test.
Go to the Timeline tab and select Preview Timeline.
Choose the recording type you want for the preview.
Click the three-dot menu at the bottom right of the video (note: this menu typically appears only in Chrome; Safari users can right-click the video and select Save Video As).
Select Download to save the test video.
Share the downloaded file with your client manually (via email, cloud storage, etc).
