Important Notes

Licensing Structure

  • Each event requires its own license, even when managed under the same account and even if events do not overlap.

  • Licenses are event-based rather than device-based. Devices can be switched during an event as long as only one device is active at a time.

  • Running the same event on multiple devices simultaneously requires a separate license for each device.

  • Licenses apply per event, not per day. A single event may run across multiple days under one license as long as it does not overlap with another active event.

License Compatibility Across Subscriptions

  • Additional licenses purchased under a Starter or Business subscription require the matching base package to remain active.

  • If a Business subscription expires and the account moves to Starter, any additional Business licenses will not function, even if they have not expired.

  • The same applies when downgrading from Starter to no base subscription.

  • Additional licenses remain on the account until their original expiry date but will only function with the appropriate active package.

Activating Additional Licenses

  • Additional licenses for overlapping events must be activated before the event start time.

  • Licenses cannot be applied retroactively once an event has started.

Account Restrictions

  • Licenses are tied to the account holder and must not be shared across accounts.

  • Each business or brand must operate under its own subscription and license agreement, excluding Scale plans where applicable.

Single Event Pricing

Single Event licenses are ideal for one-off activations or short engagements. Each license covers a single event for up to 48 hours and follows the same event-based licensing rules outlined above.

Running Multiple Events

Snappic allows events to be run sequentially or at the same time. Each event must be covered by its own license. Overlapping events require additional Photobooth licenses for each concurrent event.

Moving Licenses Between Devices

Licenses are tied to the event rather than the device. Devices can be swapped at any time by logging into Snappic on the new device, with all event settings and licensing carrying over automatically.

Conclusion

Snappic’s licensing structure is designed to be flexible, transparent, and scalable. Whether you’re running a one-off event or managing a full calendar year of activations, the system adapts to your business needs.
