Important Notes

  • To ensure that no guest skips the survey, be sure to mark the Make Survey Required as well as required, and each individual field within it. (If only some fields are marked as required, guests could skip answering optional questions, which may result in incomplete or inconsistent data collection).

  • Your chosen Display Location determines when the guest will see the survey.

  • Collected data is available for download under the Analytics tab.

  • Surveys are only supported on Enterprise events and not on Pro events.

  • Surveys can be used for custom text input for Photos, GIF, and Burst - Article

  • Surveys can't be used for VideoFX custom text input at this time

  • Surveys will only show up once per session and will not be able to collect multiple surveys on a single session at this time.

  • Surveys can be disabled on the app before starting the Photo Booth or Share station.

Where to Enable Surveys

  • Go to your Event Options tab and toggle on the Surveys feature.

Survey Settings Overview

The Survey Settings page allows you to configure how the survey appears and behaves:

  • Title – The heading of your survey form.

  • Description – Subtext to explain what the survey is for or add extra context.

  • Display Location – Choose when the survey appears: Before Sharing or On Experience Selection.

  • Make Survey Required – Ensures guests must complete the survey to proceed.

  • Survey Builder – Launches the drag-and-drop editor to build your form.

  • Report Cover Page – Upload a branded image that will appear on top of the downloaded survey data reports.

Configuring Survey Display Location

The Display Location setting affects how early or late guests engage with your survey. Choosing the right timing ensures smoother flow and better response rates.

  1. Navigate to the Surveys section in your event.

  2. Under Display Location, choose one of the following:

    • On Experience Selection – Appears before selecting a photo experience.

    • Before Sharing – Appears just before the guest reaches the sharing screen.

  3. Click Save Changes.
