Surveys
Custom surveys allow you to completely create your own survey that is displayed to each guest once they have taken their photo (GIF, burst, video).
Our survey builder allows you to set up a fully custom survey with simple fields such as text fields, number or email fields, and then the option to add more advanced fields such as ratings, check boxes, and drop downs.

Collecting Custom Text Input: Users can leverage surveys to collect custom text data, such as guest names, which can then be applied to photos, GIFs, or Bursts. These inputs are particularly useful for generating personalized event materials like name badges with custom text.
Steps to Enable Surveys for Text Input:
Enable the Survey feature under Event Options.
Set the Display Location to "On Experience Selection."
Use the Survey Builder to add text input fields, such as guest names.
Note: Surveys are exclusively available for Enterprise-level events and are not compatible with features like VideoFX for custom text input.
AVA (Advanced Vision Analytics)
Our advanced vision analytics (AVA) uses a facial recognition neural network to extract additional analytics from all images that are uploaded.
We can determine how many of the guests at the event are male vs female and also give you approximate age ranges.
It will also tell you the total number of faces detected at the event, as well as, the average number of faces detected per photo.

Disclaimer Implementation and Configuration
Snappic provides the option to include disclaimers for data collection, ensuring guests are informed and can make choices regarding their participation.
How Disclaimers Work:
You can add a disclaimer to the event, requiring guests to agree to data collection before proceeding.
The disclaimer can be configured as either optional or mandatory. If mandatory, guests who decline agreement will be unable to use the Snappic booth.
If included within a survey, the system allows organizers to track which participants declined and associate responses with photos from those who opted out. This functionality enhances transparency and compliance with data protection standards while maintaining flexibility for event organizers.
Event Analytics
All enterprise events gather certain analytics about the event such as share status (delivered or failed to deliver), share distribution (including Reach and Impressions), and photo views.
Guest Data
Guest data is the actual share data captured from every enterprise event. The share data includes all email addresses, phone numbers, and Twitter handles that the guests input on the iPad (and on the microsite) when they share their sessions (photos, Gifs, bursts, and videos).

Data Collection Practices
With Surveys Turned Off: Even if the survey feature is disabled, Snappic continues to collect sharing data during Enterprise events. If digital media (e.g., event photos) are delivered via text or email, Snappic will nonetheless collect and store the associated email addresses and phone numbers. These operations are independent of survey settings.
Importance of Transparency: Users managing events should familiarize themselves with these data-collection mechanics to ensure alignment with guest privacy preferences.
