Understanding Share Statuses

Text Message Status

Status

Meaning

Sent

The message was sent, but no delivery update has been received.

Delivered

The message was successfully delivered to the recipient’s carrier.

Undelivered

The message could not be delivered — usually due to carrier filtering (spam detection).

Failed

The text message could not be sent. Check if the recipient’s number is valid and correctly formatted.

Email Status

Status

Meaning

Processed

The email is being prepared for delivery to the recipient’s email service provider (e.g., Gmail, Outlook).

Delivered

The email has been successfully delivered.

Opened

The guest has opened the email. (This status may not always appear, depending on the recipient’s email settings.)

Bounced

The email could not be delivered—often caused by an invalid or outdated address.

Failed/Undelivered

The email failed to send, possibly due to spam filters or blocked domains.

Troubleshooting Failed Shares

If you see a Failed or Undelivered status:

  • Double-check the email address or phone number for typos.

  • Verify that the guest’s network or email provider allows external media links.

  • Review the Manage Share Queue section under your event’s Actions tab for more details or to retry sending.
