Introduction
Autonomous Single App Mode (ASAM) lets Snappic automatically enter and exit Single App Mode when starting or ending an event. This makes managing your devices easier and ensures your iPads stay locked into Snappic during events — without needing to manually enable Guided Access or configure restrictions.

Important Notes

Devices must be supervised via Apple Business Manager, Apple School Manager, or Apple Configurator.
Requires a Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution that supports Autonomous Single App Mode.
Add the Snappic bundle identifier to your MDM’s allowlist:
com.mushroomcloud.Snappic
For grey-label apps, contact Snappic Support for the correct bundle identifier.
Tested MDMs that work well: SimpleMDM and Jamf.
How Autonomous Single App Mode Works
When enabled, Snappic will:
Lock the device into Single App Mode when you start an event.
Exit Single App Mode automatically when you end the event using your admin passcode on the iPad or iPhone.
This ensures your booth remains secure during events, but can be unlocked instantly when needed — making it easy to adjust Wi-Fi, access other apps, or perform updates between events.
