Important Notes
All media from your events — including photos, GIFs, bursts, and MP4 videos are automatically stored and available in your Snappic gallery for 2 years. After this period, both the media and its associated data are permanently deleted from Snappic’s servers and cannot be recovered.
How Long Are Photos or Videos Stored?
Snappic keeps all sessions (photos, GIFs, MP4s, etc.) live and is viewable for 2 years from the date of upload.
After the 2-year period, Snappic will automatically delete the media files and their related data from your account.
Deleted items cannot be recovered, so make sure to download your event data beforehand.
Notifications Before Deletion
Snappic will notify you before any event content is deleted.
A banner will appear across your event dashboard each month.
This banner lists which events will be affected and when their photos will be removed.
You can use this time to download your event’s ZIP files and data before deletion.
Long-Running Events
For events that stay active for long periods:
Each month, Snappic automatically removes any media older than 2 years.
Newer photos (under 2 years old) remain accessible.
Analytics data — such as photo counts, views, and AVA (Average Views per Asset) — will remain accurate and still include data from deleted sessions.
Downloading and Backing Up Your Files
Before the deletion date:
Go to your event dashboard.
Locate the event banner or open the event settings.
Download your ZIP files and event data.
This ensures you retain a local backup of all media and associated analytics before they are permanently removed.

Conclusion
Snappic stores your event media for up to 2 years. After that, older media and its data are deleted to optimize storage and performance. To keep your event content safe, always download your ZIP files and event data before the deletion notice period ends.
