If you have not paired your device with the GoPro before, you will need to get the GoPro ready to accept connections. It can also help to do this if you have paired with it before, but you get errors when trying to connect.
Each GoPro model has a slightly different process to enable this mode, but each one needs you to select the Quik App connection mode.

From the main camera view, swipe down to show the GoPro camera settings.
Swipe to the left, to show the settings page on the right hand side.
Tap the Connections button > Connect Device > Quik App.

From the main camera view, swipe down to show the GoPro camera settings.
Swipe to the left, to show the settings page on the right hand side.
Tap the Connections button > Connect Device > GoPro Quik App.

From the main camera view, swipe down to show the GoPro camera settings.
Swipe to the left, to show the settings page on the right hand side.
Tap the Preferences button > Wireless Connections > Connect Device > GoPro Quik App.
PLEASE DO NOTE - LiveView is not currently supported by GoPro.
