Important Notes

  • Hiding these buttons improves the guest experience by avoiding accidental exits or retakes during sessions.

  • You can still manually exit the event using a hidden “hot zone.”

Hide the Retake and Exit Buttons

Step 1 – Access App Experience

Select your specific event in the Snappic Dashboard and go to the App Experience section. Then, click Edit.

Step 2 – Hide the Buttons

Under the App Experience settings, you’ll find options next to Hide.

Tick the checkboxes next to each option to hide them from the app interface.

  1. Background Overlay - If you have a white or very light photo booth screen, make sure this option is not ticked.

  2. Retake - Hide the option for guests to retake a session.

  3. Exit - Hide the exit button so guests cannot exit the app.

  4. Title Banner - Hide the title banner for the event on the app

Step 3 – How to Exit After Hiding Buttons

Even with the buttons hidden, you can still exit the event by using a hidden area (“hot zone”).

Simply triple-tap the top left corner of the screen where the Exit button would normally be.

This allows you to access the admin area and exit safely without exposing the button to guests.
